Lock Desk Specialist (Remote - US)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Lock Desk Specialist to manage and process mortgage loan locks efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role is critical to ensuring accurate pricing, maintaining investor requirements, and supporting production staff with day-to-day loan activities. You will work closely with multiple teams to ensure smooth operations while adapting to market fluctuations and loan-specific variables. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, has excellent analytical and communication skills, and contributes directly to the profitability and efficiency of the lending process.

Accountabilities:

• Process lock requests, profile changes, and lock extensions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide loan program and pricing support to production staff.
• Assist with daily ratesheet generation and verification.
• Support the team in resolving issues related to lock requests or managing changes on existing locks.
• Enter reservations for state bond programs as needed.
• Complete other daily duties and special projects as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving ability, and aptitude for math including calculating percentages.
• Knowledge of basic mortgage pricing and programs is a plus.
• Familiarity with Optimal Blue and Encompass is advantageous.
• Availability to work 12p-9pm ET / 9a-6p PT, Monday through Friday.
