Lead, Enterprise Systems Engineer

In this role, you will serve as a senior technical expert responsible for the design, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise IT infrastructure. You will provide advanced troubleshooting for complex system issues, mentor junior engineers, and lead infrastructure projects from deployment to completion. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to ensure high system availability, security compliance, and efficient operations. You will also play a key role in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and ongoing monitoring, contributing to the overall stability and performance of enterprise systems. The environment is remote, fast-paced, and focused on delivering high-quality IT solutions to support business goals.

Accountabilities:

• Respond promptly to escalated tickets, prioritizing requests based on business impact.
• Provide advanced support for issues involving system performance, network connectivity, and application errors.
• Manage, maintain, and monitor servers, networks, and other infrastructure systems.
• Lead infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal teams to support business initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and internal IT standards.
• Document processes, system configurations, and changes for operational clarity.
• Serve as a mentor and guide for junior engineers, providing training and knowledge sharing.
• Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues and provide effective stakeholder communication.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a related technical role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server operating systems, Active Directory, SFTP, and basic networking concepts.
• Proficiency with project management and ticketing tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex technical issues and deliver high-quality IT solutions.
