In this role, you will lead a high-performing engineering team responsible for developing core workflow engines and web-based monitoring platforms. Your mission is to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions that enable clients to manage data requests, enforce privacy policies, and integrate user preferences into enterprise systems. As a hands-on, player-coach leader, you will balance strategic oversight with active involvement in the technical stack, guiding the team through design, development, and production support. You will collaborate closely with product teams to shape the roadmap, foster innovation, and ensure high-quality output. This is a fast-paced, mission-driven environment where privacy and technology intersect, providing opportunities to influence both product and team growth.

Accountabilities:

• Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
• Oversee the development of robust workflow engines and web-based monitoring platforms.
• Review and provide guidance on technical design documents, code changes, and infrastructure implementation.
• Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to define and execute the product roadmap.
• Participate in hands-on development and production issue resolution, including infrastructure, job systems, and full-stack features.
• Drive team growth through hiring, coaching, and nurturing engineering talent.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and system reliability requirements.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building full-stack products, contributing to both frontend and backend systems.
• 2+ years of experience managing or leading engineering teams, with a proven record of delivering high-quality products in fast-paced environments.
• Strong technical communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional and remote teams.
• Passion for privacy, compliance, and mission-driven technology initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical contributions.
