CAD Technician (Remote - Florida)

Accountabilities:

• Create detailed construction drawings and plans using AutoCAD Architecture, Revit, and/or Sapphire Build.
• Develop and refine both Lot Specific and Master plans to meet internal and client-specific standards.
• Draft architectural and engineering details; assist with proposals and client correspondence.
• Conduct occasional fieldwork and research as requested by project managers.
• Ensure consistent application of quality control procedures and proper documentation of RFIs, submittals, and records.
• Engage with contractors, staff, and clients to address architectural or engineering inquiries.
• Participate in team meetings to resolve coordination or technical issues.
• Track time and project-related expenses using the company’s business management system.

• Associate’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or equivalent experience in a professional drafting environment.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with 2D and 3D drafting using AutoCAD Architecture, Revit, or Sapphire Build.
• Solid understanding of residential and/or commercial construction techniques and building codes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills — verbal and written — and the ability to multitask while meeting deadlines.
