Operational Excellence Associate

The Role

The Operational Excellence Associate will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency and process standardisation in Zoomo workshops across Spain. They will collaborate closely with local technical and operational teams to continuously improve service quality, reduce operational times, and ensure excellence in customer experience.

Duties will include:

  • Process Standardisation: Develop, document, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) in all workshops.
  • Workshop Optimisation: Collaborate with the Lead Mechanic to identify workflow inefficiencies and propose practical improvements to maximise productivity.
  • Team Training: Train technical staff on updated procedures, ensuring consistency across all locations.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor key KPIs to evaluate workshop performance and the effectiveness of implemented processes.
  • Operational Support: Provide direct support to local teams regarding process changes and the implementation of new tools.
  • Audits and Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in operations, logistics, or mechanical workshop environments, preferably in electric mobility or micromobility.
  • Education: Technical or university degree in Engineering, Logistics, Administration, or similar fields.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with maintenance management systems, inventory control, and operational data analysis. Proficiency in Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Calendar, among others).
  • Languages: Fluent Spanish; intermediate or higher English level is a plus.
  • Key Skills: Organization, analytical thinking, teamwork, effective communication, and a focus on continuous improvement.
