The City of Fort Worth is seeking an experienced Infection Control/Health Administrator to ensure the health and safety of fire personnel through the coordination of infection control and occupational health activities.

Responsibilities

Leads and supervises health and safety personnel responsible for infection control and occupational health.
Develops and implements infection control protocols, goals, and training.
Conducts exposure risk assessments, audits, and inspections.
Oversees departmental infection prevention programs.
Investigates occupational illness, injury, and exposure incidents.
Coordinates and delivers health and safety training to fire personnel.
Advises command staff on health and safety policy updates.
Monitors and evaluates program effectiveness and compliance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field
