We’re looking for a sharp, organized, and people-oriented Recruiter + HR Manager to own the hiring funnel and help us scale. Your primary focus will be recruiting top-tier technical and operational talent—but you’ll also flex into HR responsibilities as we grow.

Recruiting (Primary Role):
Own end-to-end recruiting across engineering, operations, and business roles
Source high-caliber candidates through outbound search, referrals, and platforms like LinkedIn and Ashby
Manage our ATS (Ashby) and ensure an organized, high-signal hiring process
Coordinate interviews, prepare hiring teams, and ensure timely feedback loops
Help craft compelling job descriptions and messaging that reflects our mission and tone
Track pipeline metrics, time-to-hire, and pass-through rates to optimize for speed and quality
HR & People Ops (Secondary Focus):
Onboard new hires and ensure a seamless Day 1 experience
Maintain employee records, handbooks, and HR documentation
Support internal comms, performance reviews, and occasional culture-building projects
Liaise with legal/payroll partners as needed to ensure compliance
2–5 years of experience in recruiting or HR, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment
Strong sourcing chops; you know how to find, message, and engage top talent
Exceptionally organized and reliable; you follow up, follow through, and keep things moving
Great written and verbal communicator; you know how to build trust with candidates and teammates
Familiarity with California employment law and HR best practices
Comfortable flexing between execution and strategy, recruiting and HR
Excited by ambitious goals and gritty early-stage work
Experience hiring hardware engineers or aerospace talent
Familiarity with export control
You’ve managed or helped build internal HR systems from scratch
