The SDET – Tools & Infrastructure will contribute to the development and maintenance of automation frameworks, internal tools, and systems that enhance the quality and reliability of Menlo Security's software products. This role focuses on enabling efficient testing, deployment, and analysis workflows across development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain automated frameworks and tooling to support test infrastructure and CI/CD processes
Develop tools and scripts to streamline testing, monitoring, and quality reporting Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps to integrate testing into the release pipeline
Support testing and deployment in virtualized and containerized environments Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, share knowledge, and support team standards
Contribute to the evolution of automation practices and infrastructure initiatives Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience developing test automation infrastructure and tools Proficient in Python, Node.js, and Groovy
Experience building tools for testing web-based and enterprise software applications
Solid understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery workflows Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic engineering environments Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with virtual machines and container technologies (e.g., Docker) Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience with API contract-based testing frameworks (e.g., Pact, OpenAPI) Familiarity with Kubernetes and microservices test automation
Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD (advantage)
Experience using Spacelift or similar infrastructure-as-code automation platforms (advantage)
