Job Description

As a Senior Lecturer, you will play a key role in shaping future generations of nursing professionals and researchers. You will contribute to the design and delivery of innovative, evidence-based curriculum in undergraduate and postgraduate programs, while also supporting and mentoring students across Honours and Higher Degree Research pathways.

You will be expected to undertake high-quality, impactful research aligned with the School’s priority areas and actively contribute to research leadership, including securing competitive funding, publishing in high-quality journals, and developing partnerships that support translation into practice and policy.

What we can offer
This is a full time, continuing position primarily based at either the Griffith University's Brisbane South (Nathan) or Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

The base salary for a Senior Lecturer (Level C) position is in the range $138,702 - $159,936 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total package is in the range $162,281 - $187,125 per annum.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated and extensive commitment to higher education and Nursing. In addition, the successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Possession of a doctoral qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a registered nurse or ability to apply and obtain.
