Quality Assurance Supervisor

The Quality Assurance Supervisor will be responsible for planning, conducting, and overseeing audits to ensure compliance with internal policies, state regulations, and healthcare standards. This position plays a critical role in identifying performance gaps, improving service quality, and supporting regulatory readiness across all departments.

As a key member of our compliance and quality team, the QA Supervisor will work closely with program directors, administrative staff, and frontline personnel to implement corrective actions, monitor progress, and maintain consistent documentation for inspections, reviews, and ongoing improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine internal audits of clinical and administrative operations
  • Identify compliance issues and work with management to implement corrective actions
  • Track and document audit findings, resolutions, and follow-ups
  • Develop quality improvement plans and assist in their implementation
  • Support the preparation and response to external audits and regulatory visits
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards (DOH, OMH, OPWDD, etc.)
  • Provide staff training and support on quality assurance processes and compliance expectations
  • Create and maintain detailed QA reports and dashboards for leadership review
  • Ensure that organizational policies and procedures are consistently followed

Requirements:

  • Full-time availability, Monday through Friday
  • Ability to work on-site in Brooklyn, NY
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • High attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred (healthcare administration, public health, or related field)
  • At least 2 years of experience in healthcare quality assurance, compliance, or internal auditing
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards (DOH, OMH, OPWDD preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Experience preparing for audits or accreditation reviews a plus
