The Colleague Experience Group (formerly HR) is focused on providing a great colleague experience every day. Our mission is to obsess over understanding the colleague experience at a deeper level to co-create simple and great ways of working that enable everyone to be and deliver their best. Within CEG, the Colleague Services (CS) organization plays a critical role in providing outstanding services, capabilities, data, and insights to enable that great colleague experience. The organization builds and operates products and services to enable CEG and the business.                         

This position will be part of the Colleague Services function within CEG. This is a brand new, high-visibility position and offers a unique opportunity to re-design and build effective business processes from the ground up, playing a pivotal role in shaping our strong risk management culture, and defining our strategy and compliance efforts for CEG globally.   

As part of this role, this Director will shape and manage key components of the multi-year plan to strengthen risk management capabilities and controls within CEG.  This individual will work in close partnership with key CEG senior leaders, Control Management and the CEG First Line process owners, to drive process excellence and project management direction and serve as the CEG point of contact and subject matter expert for expanded operational and regulatory requirements. 

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Lead the execution of CEG’s roadmap of risk-related milestones and tasks, collaborating and influencing with partners across CEG to ensure timelines are met.
  • Provide leadership and strategic oversight of critical activity in the roll out of RCSA framework across CEG, including the creation of new process documents for most complex CEG processes including process flows and Standard Operating Procedures. 
  • Serve as a primary partner with Control Management on key items including but not limited to CEG’s risk governance framework, RCSA’s, Operational Risk Issues and Events, etc.
  • Lead and develop broad reaching risk management solutions to address improvement areas across various CEG initiatives. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of proven experience in operational risk management or relevant field. 
  • Expertise in identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing risk and controls within business operations, preferably including experience with Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).
  • Navigate and maintains productive relationships across various stakeholder relationships, including with second- and third-line teams.
  • Decisive self-starter with high degree of accountability and experience leading matrixed teams through ambiguity and change. 
  • Executive presence with ability to exercise sound business judgment and clear, independent decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills to lead, influence, and build consensus among leaders across different business groups.
  • Willingness and ability to understand the underpinning of processes and determine root causes of issues 
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage and deliver multiple complex items simultaneously. 
  • Experience leading cross-functional or broad stakeholder teams, driving towards goals in time-sensitive and rapidly changing situations.  

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in MS Visio and Archer technology platforms. 
  • BA/BS Degree or MBA. 

Salary Range: $130,000.00 to $205,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
