Skills
- Proficiency in Golang and C++ for systems-level development.
- Strong Linux systems experience and comfort working with custom distributions.
- Experience with networking concepts and working with high-throughput NICs.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployment patterns.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and common services.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain low-level platform software and OS components supporting the Corelight appliance.
- Implement and optimize features related to a high-performance Network Interface Card used for traffic ingest.
- Support and maintain a custom Linux distribution used in production appliances.
- Work with teams to enable and support containerized applications on the platform.
- Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation to support frequent, reliable releases.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration with product and stakeholders.
- Perform end-to-end testing and troubleshooting to ensure product reliability and performance.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (required).
- Master's degree in a related discipline (preferred).
