I2X Technologies is seeking a Mid Level Software Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Riverdale/College Park, MD. This position will be *on-site and will require an active Secret. 

• Develop microservices and container software for deployment into a cloud environment using an Agile Development methodology
• Use your experience to develop code in many current languages and environments
• Be part of a team that is open to and accepting of your ideas and have input on how the work is done
• Be part of a team that is developing systems and software for our national security

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in software development
• 1 or more years of experience with modeling (i.e. MBSE Model Based Systems Engineering)
• Experience with JavaScript and Python for new code base
• Experience with C, C++ and Java based with microservices on the existing code base.
• Experience with Docker containers and Rancher would be strongly desired
• Secret Clearance required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
