- Leadership of global QA teams across backend automation and mobile testing
- Designing testing strategies, test plans, and test cases for web, API, and mobile
- Backend automation frameworks using Playwright or Postman
- Mobile automation using XCUITest and Espresso, including device farm integration
- CI/CD automation integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline)
- Experience with performance, security, i18n/l10n, and accessibility testing
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong collaboration in Agile cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a global team of full-time and contractor QA engineers.
- Define and implement comprehensive testing strategies: functional, integration, performance, stress, accessibility, and compatibility.
- Drive backend automation and API/integration coverage using Playwright/Postman and integrate suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Oversee mobile automation for iOS and Android (XCUITest, Espresso), including device farm/cloud integration.
- Collaborate with Product, PM, Development, vendors, and customers in an Agile environment.
- Manage test environments and recommend infrastructure to support uninterrupted QA testing.
- Define QA KPIs, team vision, goals, and strategy with an automation-first mindset.
- Participate in employee engagement, performance management, and organizational initiatives.
- Champion maintainable test suites and CI/CD integration (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Ongoing professional development in QA and automation tools recommended
