Senior Java Developer

The Role:

Dash Financial Technologies LLC seeks a Senior Java Developer in Chicago, IL.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications. Build and manage compliance reporting systems, with a focus on FINRA CAT, using SQL and Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements. Implement technical solutions based on project specifications. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and quality standards. Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve performance. Write unit tests and integration tests to validate functionality.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Document development processes, code changes, and application features. Leverage continuous integration practices to streamline the software development lifecycle and improve software quality.
• Assist in the deployment of applications and monitor performance post-launch.

• Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security or a related field, followed by 6 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered, or in a software engineer/ developer related occupation.

Salary Range: 

The estimated salary range is $149,000 - $155,000. Salary is negotiable depending on experience and skills.
