We are seeking a dedicated Cloud Operations Engineer to join our expanding team. You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams to enhance infrastructure automation, CI/CD practices, and cloud-native solutions. Your role involves leveraging tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes, and managing deployments across AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid environments.
What You'll Do:
* Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitLab CI and Terraform.
* Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible and Infrastructure-as-Code approaches.
* Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps practices into agile workflows and enhance delivery speed.
* Monitor system performance, ensure service availability across cloud and on-premises environments, and implement monitoring and alerting using Prometheus/Grafana.
* Manage incident response, logging, and conduct root cause analysis.
* Contribute to security hardening and vulnerability remediation with security teams.
* Document processes and communicate effectively to ensure seamless operations.
* Plan and manage capacity to ensure efficient resource utilization.
* Utilize networking concepts and able to triage and troubleshoot network related issues in the cloud.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
* BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Automation Engineer.
* Strong foundation in software engineering practices and agile development.
* Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
* Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
* Familiarity with version control systems like Git and Git workflows.
* Experience in UNIX/Linux and Windows systems administration.
* Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
* Knowledge of systems architecture including clustering, load balancing, HA/DR, and distributed systems.
* Familiarity with networking concepts, firewall configuration, and object storage (e.g., S3).
* Experience with security scanning tools, static analysis, and compliance automation.
* Experience managing hybrid environments with both on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
