Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop medication treatment plans for children and teens
- Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care
- Collaborate closely with InStride care team, families, and outpatient pediatricians/psychiatrists
- Participate in clinical team meetings focused on patient care, collaboration, and education
- Schedule and manage patient appointments and complete timely, thorough documentation
- Contribute feedback on workflow improvements and support program growth and innovation
Education
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of psychiatry residency and child/adolescent training or equivalent experience
- North Carolina medical license (active) or willingness to obtain
- Board eligible or board certified in psychiatry
