- Experience with or knowledge of T-14 law schools and their admissions expectations
- Strong English reading, writing, and editing skills
- Excellent verbal communication and relationship management
- Project management and organization skills, including use of Excel
- Coaching or mentoring mindset with ability to provide constructive feedback
- Familiarity with law school admissions processes and timelines
Responsibilities
- Advise prospective law school candidates on school selection, application strategy, and profile-building opportunities
- Edit and provide structural feedback on personal statements, essays, resumes, and other application documents while preserving student voice
- Manage relationships with students and families, maintaining regular communication and progress updates
- Create and maintain project plans and timeline trackers (Excel-based) to keep students on schedule
- Research and recommend optimal law schools and programs tailored to each student's profile
- Stay current on law school admissions trends, requirements, and timelines to provide up-to-date guidance
Education
- Graduated from or currently enrolled in a U.S. JD or LLM program
