Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems in Python with AI integrations
- Implement prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) into product workflows
- Integrate generative AI via API connections and contribute to model deployment and fine-tuning
- Apply ML algorithms (regression, tree-based methods, neural networks) where applicable
- Build scalable, secure architectures on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, networking)
- Contribute to backend architecture and system performance optimization
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data science, and engineering teams
- Mentor junior AI engineers and help coordinate deliverables with offshore teams
- Travel for business as needed
Education
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM field
- Relevant practical experience in backend development and generative AI
