Skills
- Strong financial reporting and accounting skills including US GAAP knowledge.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (XLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
- Experience with General Ledger systems such as Oracle NetSuite or SAP preferred.
- Excellent time management and written communication abilities.
- Ability to independently implement controls and balance strategic and daily tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations for multiple domestic and international entities including journal entries and support schedules.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and notes for audit and internal review.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with auditors and tax professionals.
- Maintain SOX compliant internal controls and financial documentation.
- Prepare regulatory filings and reports for broker-dealer and other regulated entities.
- Oversee tax payment schedules and review corporate tax documents.
- Implement and maintain expense allocation and internal control frameworks.
- Prepare memos and workbooks related to complex transactions including M&A due diligence.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA certification or candidate in process.
