Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and lead implementation of scalable cloud data solutions using AWS, Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and related tools.
- Own data flows end-to-end: ingestion, transformation, modeling, and delivery to BI/analytics consumers.
- Design and maintain a governed semantic layer for consistent self-service analytics.
- Define and lead data quality, governance frameworks, and testing strategies.
- Serve as technical consultant to senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders, translating data into strategic insights.
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level analytics engineers; conduct advanced code reviews and set documentation standards.
- Evaluate and evangelize new technologies and methodologies to improve analytics capabilities.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent industry experience
- Formal or equivalent experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data science
