Pros
Having done a few stints in tech organizations with the “churn and burn / Silicon Valley” mentality, Hive has been such a welcoming breath of fresh air. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a ton of work to be done, but the culture that has been created here goes a long way in protecting your overall mental health and well-being. While I’m 8 years into my career and have been through a revolving door of job opps due to crappy workplaces, Hive is hands down the best place I’ve worked for so far. In true start up fashion, there’s a lot of opportunities to participate in meaningful work. Testing, failure, and learning is actively welcomed, and it has been really rewarding to have the creative freedom and psychological safety to carve out work that fulfills me.Cons
Since Hive is still very much a start up, there’s a lot of “building the plane while you’re flying it.” This can be difficult for people that are more comfortable with defined processes or more established organizations. But to turn a con into a positive, it can be really rewarding to enter an organization at this stage and be able to have a say in how things should be!A fast-growing event marketing SaaS company seeks an experienced Revenue Operations Manager to lead and optimize their revenue engine with strong marketing systems expertise.
