Responsibilities

As a Leasing Manager - Multifamily with Hines, you will be responsible for overseeing the marketing, advertising, sales activities, and leasing team members for the property. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

 

  • Actively participate in the leasing process
  • Supervise and manage the property’s leasing team members
  • Ensure the achievement of the property’s revenue and occupancy goals by directing the marketing, advertising, and sales actives as well as ensure the apartments are available for occupancy
  • Use and create promotional items and technology to communicate with potential prospects and generate revenue
  • Partner with the maintenance team to make sure the property’s appearance and safety is up to Hines Residential’s standards
  • Review and analyze financial reports pertaining to issues impacting leasing performance
  • Oversee the lease renewal program and the communication process
  • Become a point of reference for any question’s residents may have

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include: 

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution; college degree is a plus
  • Two or more years of experience in residential property management or related industry
  • Sales and/or supervisory experience preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Property Management software strongly preferred, Entrada experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Work indoors approximately 95% of the time and outdoors approximately 5% of the time
  • Use olfactory, auditory, and visual senses to inspect building and detect emergency alarms
  • On occasion, perform physical inspections of the property which may include climbing up and down stairs or accessing restrictive openings 
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs
  • Though occurrences are rare, be accessible 24 hours a day in case of an emergency and perform on-site operations management during natural disasters 
  • Transfer properties and work overtime as business needs deem appropriate 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
