About the Opportunity
A highly respected orthopedic practice in Prescott, AZ is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its outpatient team. This full-time role offers an excellent work-life balance with a 4-day workweek and no weekend coverage.
The position provides the opportunity to work closely with a fellowship-trained orthopedic physician, making it ideal for experienced APPs or motivated clinicians who wish to specialize in musculoskeletal care. You’ll be part of a collaborative, patient-focused team with ample opportunities for professional growth.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $130,000 – $180,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
- Bonus Structure: Production-based incentive plan

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive orthopedic evaluations and manage patient care across the musculoskeletal spectrum
- Assist with pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up visits
- Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and other relevant studies
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and clinical staff to create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients on their diagnoses, treatment options, and rehabilitation strategies
- Complete, thorough and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited U.S.-based Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program (Puerto Rico programs not accepted)
- Active, unrestricted Arizona NP or PA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- DEA certification in good standing
- Preferred: 1–2 years of orthopedic experience or a strong interest in orthopedics
- Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
