Location: Prescott, Arizona

Schedule: Full-Time | 4-Day Workweek (10-Hour Shifts) | No Weekends

Setting: Office-Based Orthopedic Clinic

About the Opportunity

A highly respected orthopedic practice in Prescott, AZ is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its outpatient team. This full-time role offers an excellent work-life balance with a 4-day workweek and no weekend coverage.

The position provides the opportunity to work closely with a fellowship-trained orthopedic physician, making it ideal for experienced APPs or motivated clinicians who wish to specialize in musculoskeletal care. You’ll be part of a collaborative, patient-focused team with ample opportunities for professional growth.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $130,000 – $180,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
  • Bonus Structure: Production-based incentive plan

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive orthopedic evaluations and manage patient care across the musculoskeletal spectrum
  • Assist with pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up visits
  • Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and other relevant studies
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and clinical staff to create and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Educate patients on their diagnoses, treatment options, and rehabilitation strategies
  • Complete, thorough and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited U.S.-based Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program (Puerto Rico programs not accepted)
  • Active, unrestricted Arizona NP or PA license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • DEA certification in good standing
  • Preferred: 1–2 years of orthopedic experience or a strong interest in orthopedics
  • Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
