Responsibilities
Help the HazTek Team build the future of tomorrow as a Safety Specialist near Gainesville, VA! If you’re a safety professional who can keep sites safe, projects on track, and promote a thriving safety culture, we want to hear from you!
- Oversee all aspects of industrial construction projects ensuring OSHA compliance
- Implement and maintain safety policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with executive management on contractor safety plans
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across job sites
- Deliver engaging safety training, toolbox talks, and orientation sessions for site personnel and subcontractors.
- Promote and champion a proactive safety culture from pre-construction through project completion
- Ensure all personnel wear their personal protective equipment (PPE)
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction safety
- OSHA 30 in Construction required
- Experience in contractor communications
- In-depth knowledge of electrical hazards and controls
- Advanced experience working on data center or mission critical builds
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills

$90,000 - $110,000Travel | Relocation
