Skills
- Proficient in Python for data engineering and backend services.
- Experience working with data pipelines, APIs, or backend systems.
- Knowledge or interest in modern data tooling such as DBT, Elasticsearch, and GraphQL.
- Ability to handle unstructured and messy data and transform it into actionable insights.
- Basic system design and data modeling understanding.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Python-based data pipelines for ingesting, cleaning, and structuring diverse data sources.
- Collaborate with data and infrastructure teams to implement scalable backend systems and data models.
- Develop validation logic and track data quality metrics to improve coverage, freshness, and accuracy.
- Integrate structured data into product features via databases, search indexes, and GraphQL APIs.
- Engage in system design, data modeling, and search architecture learning and development.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
