Senior DevOps Engineer
Skills
- Extensive AWS experience and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform preferred).
- Kubernetes and deployment tooling expertise (Helm).
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, etc.).
- Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Observability tooling experience (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK/OpenSearch).
- Strong cloud security knowledge (IAM, encryption, network design, compliance).
- Proven mentorship and technical leadership capabilities.
- Experience with systems performance, reliability, and scalable architecture.
Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and automation.
- Design and implement secure infrastructure on AWS using Terraform, Kubernetes, and related tooling.
- Own and improve CI/CD workflows to enable fast, reliable deployments across teams.
- Mentor and advise DevOps engineers, promoting autonomy, best practices, and technical growth.
- Define and track operational metrics (deployment success rate, cost, scaling efficiency, MTTR).
- Drive incident readiness, response, and post-incident improvements with strong observability and alerting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align infrastructure goals with product and platform objectives.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience preferred
- Relevant cloud or security certifications are a plus
