What You Will Do:

  • Guidehouse is responsible for providing agile project coordination support for the development and maintenance of a global information system supporting a US Federal Government client. As part of a Project Management Office (PMO), the IT Project Coordinator is responsible for :

    • Coordinating with multiple stakeholders (business owners, development team members, etc.).

    • defining requirements; identifying process improvements; managing scope, schedule, and risk.

    • maintaining project budget; conducting testing; drafting system guidance, and reporting project status to stakeholders.

    • As part of an agile team, the IT Project Coordinator will maintain the product backlog, refine user stories with business owners and developers, establish and maintain the release plan, and demonstrate completed functionality to stakeholders.

    • Develop and maintain program documentation including meeting notes, action logs, etc.


What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree -OR- FOUR (4) additional years' experience in information technology may be used in lieu of degree.

  • THREE (3) or more years' experience in Agile methodology and/or Project Management.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage time efficiently.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be US Citizen.

  • Must be able to work from client site in Arlington, VA one day each week.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • PMP Certification.

  • Agile Certification (Scrum Master, SAFe, Product Owner, etc.).

  • Project management knowledge and experience on IT-related projects with priority given to the use of an Agile methodology.

  • Experience using Agile Scrum and/or Kanban methodology to plan and manage work against iterations and releases.

  • Experience monitoring project progress and implementing effective corrective actions if actual progress falls behind the plan.

  • Experience facilitating meetings with clients of varying levels to gather, document, prioritize, and analyze system specifications and user requirements, working closely with developers and testers in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience developing and maintaining project budgets.

  • Demonstrated ability to use effective facilitation skills and techniques to elicit requirements from a diverse range of stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to offer solutions and articulate the business impact to clients in a clear and concise manner.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment.
