Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist:
- Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition.
- Assess and interpret patient evaluations and test results.
- Develop treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques.
- Create personalized fitness-oriented healthcare programs for patients.
- Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve mobility.
- Advise patients on exercise techniques.
- Advise patients and their families about in-home treatment options.
- Provide educational information about injury prevention, ergonomics, and ways to promote physical health.
- Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient care history.
- Comply with rules, regulations, and procedures
