The Role: GTM Engineer

We’re seeking a creative, data-driven GTM Engineer to accelerate how GovSignals introduces new AI-powered contracting tools to market. This role is ideal for a builder who thrives in a zero-to-one environment, rapidly standing up programmatic marketing systems, experiments, and campaigns that drive measurable pipeline impact.

You’ll collaborate directly with the founding team across product, sales, and client success to craft messaging, design GTM motions, and build the operational backbone that scales GovSignals’ reach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build the Marketing System: Stand up the core GTM tech stack (automation, attribution, CRM integrations) and establish scalable processes from the ground up.

  • Growth Experiments: Run scrappy, high-velocity tests (A/B, messaging pilots, channel experiments) to validate positioning and accelerate adoption.

  • Messaging & Content: Translate technical AI features into compelling narratives—decks, demos, one-pagers, and case studies.

  • Campaign Design & Execution: Launch end-to-end GTM campaigns (email sequences, paid/social, webinars, landing pages) to generate awareness and pipeline.

  • Analytics & Insights: Define success metrics (CAC, LTV, funnel conversion), build dashboards, and refine strategies with data.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, sales, and ops to ensure GTM programs align with ICPs, sales workflows, and customer adoption.

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in marketing, growth, or GTM roles (ideally at early-stage or high-growth startups).

  • Proven ability to design and scale marketing systems from scratch (automation, attribution, integrations).

  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools (HubSpot, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, analytics platforms, etc.).

  • Experience designing and running marketing campaigns with measurable impact.

  • Comfort collaborating with technical teams and translating product details into clear customer value.

Bonus Points For

  • Background in growth marketing, product marketing, or demand generation.

  • Experience marketing AI/ML, developer tools, or SaaS products.

  • Familiarity with compliance, GovTech, or federal contracting ecosystems.
