Part-time Associate Photographer - Boutique Portrait Studio (Plano TX)
Goldenlight Creative is seeking an Associate Photographer (Plano, TX) to join our boutique studio. We create a high-touch, luxury experience for our clients, and we’re looking for someone who combines strong technical ability with a warm, welcoming personality.
This role is ideal for a photographer who thrives on making clients feel comfortable, celebrated, and at home whether in front of the camera, during styling, or in our studio environment.
Responsibilities
- Photograph portrait sessions (including families, children, pets, boudoir, and VIP clients).
- Create a welcoming, professional, and affirming experience for every client.
- Operate and maintain in-house photography and printing equipment.
- Perform professional retouching and image preparation.
- Collaborate with the studio team to deliver a seamless client journey.
- Represent the studio with professionalism, excellent communication, and attention to presentation.
- 4+ years professional photography experience (studio or portrait work preferred).
- Proficiency in Photoshop; retouching experience required.
- Experience with professional printing equipment is strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to put clients at ease and build rapport.
- Comfort working with diverse clients, including family, lifestyle, and boudoir sessions.
- Professional presentation and ability to represent a luxury brand.
Compensation & Schedule
- $2,200-$2640 per month base + commission on sales (no cap)
- Schedule: 8:30 - 3:30pm or 9:00 am - 3:00pm
Compensation is competitive and designed to reward both technical excellence and client experience.
