GDIT is seeking a Program Analyst to help support operations and report onsite 5 days a week to our Falls Church, VA facility.
As a Program Analyst, you will perform a variety of general administrative and analytical tasks in support of the day-to-day operations of the Projects Team.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
The Program Analyst requires a strong blend of analytical skills, project coordination, and technical understanding to ensure programs meet technical and programmatic standards, align with organizational policies, and address customer requirements.
Works closely with engineers, project managers, leadership, and government finance stakeholders to validate data, document assumptions, and deliver high-quality technical and programmatic assessments in support of program goals.
Prepares clear documentation, including assumptions, methodologies, and risk considerations.
Maintains records of estimates, tracks accuracy trends, and generates reports on performance metrics such progress against technical performance and execution (obligations and expenditures) metrics.
Collaborates with program leadership, engineering teams, and government finance offices to ensure alignment across technical, cost, and schedule perspectives.
Identifies opportunities for process improvement and contributes to the enhancement of estimating tools, templates, and knowledge repositories.
Communicates findings, impacts, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Applies knowledge of federal budgeting cycles, appropriations, and financial management regulations to ensure program compliance and accurate cost forecasting.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED - REQUIRED:
CLEARANCE: Active Top Secret clearance.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
EXPERIENCE: 8+ years related technical experience.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated technical experience supporting DoD-related R&D efforts and programs
Experience working with government financial systems, appropriations law, or federal budget processes is highly desirable.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using estimating or project management tools.
LOCATION: Full-time onsite in Falls Church, VA.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
CLEARANCE: Active TS/SCI clearance.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Experience with DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
Familiarity with government contract funding structures, obligation/expenditure tracking, and reporting requirements.
Ability to interpret and apply appropriations law to ensure compliance with funding policies and restrictions.

The likely salary range for this position is $114,750 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
