About the role
We're looking for a Senior PM to chart the future of sharing at Gamma.Gamma’s 50M+ users worldwide count on our AI-powered visual storytelling platform to shape and share their big ideas. While many know us for our flagship presentations product, under the hood our core artifact is a “gamma”: a responsive, theme-able stack of cards that can currently be shared as a presentation, a doc, a site, or social cards. We also support popular export formats such as PDF, PowerPoint, and Google Slides, and additional export formats are among our top user requests.
As our PM for Sharing, you’ll be responsible for empowering everyone to get their ideas into the world with Gamma. You’ll lead product for our dedicated Sharing team, which owns sites, docs, and social cards; export formats; file model and permissions; and multiplayer features (commenting, collaborative editing, etc.). You’ll also be responsible for pioneering new formats—exploring the next frontier of where Gamma can go, whether that be graphic design, video generation, or other output types you dream up.
Concretely, we’ve been heads-down on a bundle of updates to our Sites offering that you’ll hit the ground running by shipping. You’ll connect deeply with Gamma’s users and define our Sharing roadmap in close collaboration with our CPO and our head of core product, harmonizing the needs of both B2B and B2C users. This is an ideal role for a product manager motivated by impact: Sharing is how Gamma gets out there. Our team has a strong in-office culture and this position is an onsite role in San Francisco. As a key connector on the team, you'll be expected to be at our office in Potrero Hill 4-5 days per week.
What you'll do:
Own Gamma's Sites offering end-to-end, shipping advanced navigation and site analytics improvements already underway
Drive improvements to Gamma's exported output and unlock new output formats based on deep user research
Manage file model and permissions systems that power seamless sharing experiences
Steward and improve existing multiplayer features including commenting, collaborative editing, and real-time collaboration
Balance the needs of prosumer and enterprise users while maintaining our consumer-first DNA
Work hands-on with engineers to ship complex, polished designs that delight users
Chart a strategic roadmap in close collaboration with leadership that scales to our next phase of growth
Explore the next frontier of where Gamma can go—graphic design, video generation, and beyond
Our ideal candidate has:
6+ years of experience in product management
Technical fluency to discuss complex tradeoffs with senior backend engineers
Strong quantitative analysis skills and self-starter approach to analysis; we are a small team with no dedicated analysts at the moment
Experience working with top-tier designers to ship complex, polished user experiences
Proven track record managing stakeholder relationships and navigating competing priorities
Deep care for engineering velocity and willingness to handle all the many small tasks that set engineers up for success
Bonus points for:
Product strategy experience doing 0-1 product work or owning strategy for significant product areas
Experience with export formats, file systems, or multiplayer collaboration tools
Entrepreneurial background at startups or eagerness to jump from big company to startup world
Trust & Safety experience
