Flowserve Corporation, a leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow management products and services, has an exciting opportunity for a Project Application Engineer Co-op to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role offers hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of our organization, with a focus on capital projects supporting engineering contractors and major Oil & Gas clients around the world.
This will be for June 2026 (Summer)
Assist with a variety of technical tasks under limited scope and direct supervision.
Analyze customer specifications and process conditions to identify engineered pump solutions that deliver optimal hydraulic performance in petroleum processing applications.
Review inquiry documentation and collaborate across disciplines to support the preparation of technical proposals for original equipment.
Support general project-related duties, including contract processing and transitioning project deliverables to operations.
Strong command of the English language – written and verbal
Basic mechanical aptitude
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent field)
Minimum two years of coursework completed
Must be enrolled in a university-approved Co-op program
