Stay current with emerging technologies in machine tools, tooling, and manufacturing methods; recommend innovations to improve throughput and quality.
Create, maintain, and continuously improve manufacturing routings across all production areas.
Ensure all processes, tooling, and fixtures comply with OSHA safety standards.
Support and enforce Flowserve's environmental policies, ensuring compliance by both internal operations and subcontractors.
Foster a team-oriented work environment and demonstrate respect in all interactions with colleagues and customers.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field), with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
Proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives through Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong background in manufacturing environments, ideally involving complex, precision-engineered products.
Proficiency with ERP systems and CAD software.
Experience developing manufacturing routings and an understanding of cost accounting principles.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, safety standards, process documents, and maintenance procedures.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including knowledge of geometry, trigonometry, algebra, and statistical analysis.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using a data-driven approach and logical reasoning.
Comfortable working with technical documentation in various formats, including diagrams and abstract concepts.
