- Licensed Customs Broker (required)
- Deep knowledge of classification, valuation, FTAs, COI, FSFE and tariff engineering
- Strong data analytical skills and experience with analytics/reporting
- Excellent technical and business writing skills
- Proven leadership and project management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Experience interfacing with CBP and other government agencies
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage trade advisory engagements focused on classification, country of origin, FTA analysis, FSFE, tariff engineering, valuation and compliance assessments
- Perform and oversee trade advisory analytics and reporting; provide insights and actionable recommendations
- Draft and deliver high-quality client deliverables while managing multiple project deadlines
- Monitor regulatory updates, rulings and industry trends and educate the team
- Manage project timelines, statuses and invoicing; supervise and mentor junior associates
- Coordinate software solutions, data automation, SOP improvements, ACE portal access and systems integrations
- Interface with CBP, other government agencies, clients and internal stakeholders; escalate issues as needed
- Maintain active client communication and support Trade Advisory infrastructure and administrative needs
Education
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university (required)
- J.D. or other graduate degree (highly preferred)
