- 3+ years professional software development with strong engineering fundamentals
- 2+ years experience in system design and architecture with OOA/OOD principles
- Full-stack development experience (frontend frameworks and backend languages)
- Experience building responsive, mobile-friendly web applications
- Familiarity with microservices, distributed systems, and production deployments
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test and maintain highly available distributed systems in a microservice architecture.
- Model and implement logistics entities (shippers, cargo, carriers, containers, documents, emails) and their workflows.
- Collaborate with product managers, business partners and engineering peers to translate business needs into technical designs.
- Deliver incremental product improvements and ship to production frequently.
- Monitor service health, obsess over metrics, and apply learnings from post-mortems to improve reliability and performance.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience
