Skills
- 3-5 years duty drawback implementation and account management
- Advanced Excel and familiarity with analytical tools
- Experience analyzing large sets of import/export and manufacturing data
- Strong written and email communication skills
- High computer literacy and digital-first workflows
- Understanding of customs, classification, valuation, and duty minimization strategies
- Experience working with product and engineering teams
Responsibilities
- Prepare U.S. and foreign duty drawback forms, applications, responses, and claims
- Manage day-to-day drawback operations for multiple clients
- Onboard new drawback clients, develop SOPs, and manage initial claims
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to design and implement drawback software solutions
- Analyze import/export/manufacturing documents and large datasets to identify recovery opportunities
- Prepare and troubleshoot drawback claims using software tools
- Ensure compliance with drawback and related trade regulations
- Maintain client and claim databases and provide consistent project updates
- Design and execute test plans for drawback software functionality and accuracy
- Create training materials and provide training to internal teams and clients
- Mentor and assist associates and analysts on the drawback team
Education
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Licensed Customs Broker preferred
