1: In this role the candidate will be required to be within drivable distance to our Banking client's physical location at Pinnacle Bank in Gilroy, CA where they will be assisting the Client onsite 3 days a week and 2 days virtual.

About the role:
As a Systems Administrator, you will deploy the release of new technologies as well as design, install, configure, maintain and integrate system testing performance of PC/server operating systems, related utilities and hardware.

 

About the team:

FIS Managed IT group provides support and implementation solutions to customers throughout the U.S. Our engineers work to provide support, design solutions, hardware systems, and provide top-tier customer service. This specific role will focus on our Banking Client Pinnacle Bank in Gilroy, CA.

What you will be doing:

• In this role you will be responsible for providing desktop, system and network administration and support to our Managed Services clients. This includes but is not limited to providing remote desktop and network support, providing on-site desktop and network support, performing on-site moves, adds, changes, performing desktop and network administration and monitoring (proactive), and assisting in on-site project implementation.

• Installs, maintains and upgrades internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing company products. Controls user access and passwords.

• Proposes and implements system enhancements that will improve reliability and performance of system.

• Monitors usage and performance. Troubleshoots server, software and hardware issues.

• Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products.

• Supports Web access and electronic messaging services and maintains a secure systems environment.

• Working with Intune MDM and full VMware solution

• Overseeing multidomain segmentation for complex international banking environment

• Change control, security and process driven troubleshooting for an international banking security platform with strict regulatory compliance

What you will need:

• Strong knowledge of implementing and utilizing remote network management and monitoring tools. (Zabbix, etc.)

• Experience configuring, implementing, and supporting network operating systems: Active Directory, O365, Windows Server 2016/2022/2025, Windows desktop operating systems, MS Office 2016/365, Outlook/Exchange/Exchange Online, anti-virus, back-ups and other various desktop applications

• Experience supporting Citrix VDI/XenApp at the client and network level

• Ability to travel and maintain a flexible work schedule

• Support experience with Citrix VDI/Windows/VMWare, network back-up software, and desktop/network anti-virus software

• Support experience with BackOffice Applications is desired

• MCITP/MCTS/365 certifications are highly desired

The pay range for this full-time position is $36.78 - $59.95 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
