Behavior Technician – ABA Practicum Opportunity - Maryland Heights, Missouri
Location: Maryland Heights, MO
Setting: In-home
Schedule: Monday to Friday 4:00pm to 6:30pm (subject to change based on learner needs)
Pay: $18-$23/hour
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) you will work with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement life-changing ABA care. You’ll work one-on-one with our patient's families, helping children learn new skills and reach new milestones.
Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a school setting
Collect and record data on child behaviors
Be available weekly for supervision by the Behavior Analyst
Attend team meetings

What You'll Need
Currently enrolled in a practicum or fieldwork program related to Applied Behavior Analysis, psychology, education, or a similar field (required)
Obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 60 days of hire
Experience working with children, and a passion for working with children with special needs
Reliable Transportation
Must have an active CPR Certification
To protect our clients and their families, this position requires a background check. Successful candidates will receive a conditional offer of employment, with a final confirmation to start pending the satisfactory results of the screening
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time
Sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time
