Evolv is seeking a hands-on IoT/WiFi Systems Engineer to support and enhance cloud-connected platforms by troubleshooting and optimizing connectivity for their products.
Responsibilities: Monitor IoT cloud connectivity, design secure access mechanisms, troubleshoot connectivity issues, interact with service providers, and recommend updates for performance improvements.
Skills: A strong background in LTE and Wi-Fi networking, software coding or scripting, problem-solving abilities, and experience with IoT connectivity are required.
Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include familiarity with cloud services, telecommunication protocols, and a proactive approach to improving product reliability.
Location: The position is based onsite at Evolv Headquarters in Waltham, Massachusetts, with the possibility of remote work on occasion and travel up to 30% to customer sites.

You will be joining the Systems Engineering Team, reporting to a Senior Software Systems Engineer, within Evolv’s larger R&D team of 70. You will work directly with software and electrical engineers, the Product team, and interface very closely with the Support and Field Service organization.
This is an onsite role based at Evolv Headquarters in Waltham, Massachusetts. As a member of the Engineering team, we expect you to come into the office daily, but we understand that things come up; you can work remotely from time to time. Travel – up to 30% to customer sites.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $119,000- $191,000. In addition to base salary, this role offers a competitive target bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package. This range reflects our commitment to pay transparency and equity, in alignment with applicable state laws. Our compensation ranges are determined based on factors such as role, level, location, market benchmarks, and internal equity. The posted range represents the good faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this role across U.S. locations. Actual compensation within the range will be based on the candidate’s skills, experience, education, and geographic location.
