Epic is looking for a Studio Head / Acquisitions Editor to lead a new imprint within their Epic Originals content team, focusing on driving editorial and commercial strategies for children's content.
Responsibilities: Oversee the creative and business direction for a new imprint, define acquisition strategy, manage budgets, deliver ebooks annually, and develop a pipeline for long-term content.
Skills: 7-10+ years in acquisitions editing, strong commercial instincts, editorial judgment, and ability to work with financial data and budgets.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with preferred experience at a major publishing house and established relationships in the industry.
Location: San Jose preferred; open to remote
Compensation: $80000 - $80000 / Annually

While editing experience is valuable, this position is best suited for a business-minded leader who thrives in building, scaling, and refining a content portfolio.
$80,000 base salary + bonus
