We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic senior scientific editor to join the Cell Reports editorial team. Cell Reports is a premium open access journal at Cell Press, publishing cutting edge and impactful work across all of biology.
We welcome applications from candidates with expertise in any field that Cell Reports publishes. Previous editorial experience is an advantage but is not required. Cell Reports values having a diverse editorial team, and applications from those from minority groups currently under-represented in science are warmly welcomed.
About the Role
The Senior Scientific Editor will be closely involved in all editorial aspects of the journal. You will take ownership of overseeing submissions and peer review to ensure we publish high-quality content. You will build relationships with experts in the community to disseminate and discuss their research. You will be a mentor for other members of the Cell Reports team. This is a full-time editorial position. It can be based in proximity to our offices in Cambridge, MA United States, London, or Shanghai, China.
