Associate Publisher
Are you an enthusiastic individual ready to join a team as an Associate Publisher?
Would you love to manage and develop a portfolio of Social Sciences titles?
About Our Team
A global leader in information and analytics, we help researchers and healthcare professionals advance science and improve health outcomes for the benefit of society. Building on our publishing heritage, we combine quality information and vast data sets with analytics to support visionary science and research, health education and interactive learning, as well as exceptional healthcare and clinical practice. At Elsevier, your work contributes to the world's grand challenges and a more sustainable future. We harness innovative technologies to support science and healthcare to partner for a better world.
About the Role
The portfolio consists of information systems and management journals. The journals are mainly proprietary and the portfolio includes two gold open access tiles. The Associate Publisher taking on this list would be collaborating with three other Publishers working across business, management and innovation titles to ensure alignment in development and outreach in these fields.
The Associate Publisher will ensure our journals reflect the research community, expanding networks, partnerships, and output, especially from underrepresented regions. Success in this role requires maintaining an excellent network with Elsevier editors, authors, and societies.
We are specifically looking for someone who is willing and able to develop deep relationships with, and an understanding of, US institutes that undertake research in information systems and management and adjacent areas. Due to the focus on geographical engagement, this Associate Publisher position can be based in the USA at either our Cambridge, New York or Philadelphia offices.
The Social Sciences journals’ team you will be joining is currently made up of 10 publishers – seven in the UK, two in China and one in the Netherlands.
