We’re looking for a scrappy, creative, and highly personable Content Lead to make Ekho the voice dealers trust for education, insight, and growth. This is not a behind-the-scenes marketing role—it’s about becoming a visible presence in the dealer community, producing content that resonates, and driving industry evangelism through storytelling, education, and relationship-building.
This person will create high-impact video, podcast, newsletter, blog, and social media content that helps dealers and vehicle brands better understand their business fundamentals (margins, F&I, operations) while positioning Ekho as the modern partner dealers can rely on. They’ll also be out in the field—traveling to meet dealers, interviewing customers, attending conferences, and capturing stories that build credibility and trust.
Responsibilities
Build and execute a content strategy that educates, entertains, and inspires the dealer community.
Create, host, and publish a steady stream of content (short-form videos, long-form YouTube, podcasts, blogs, social posts).
Translate complex dealership topics (gross margins, F&I, compliance, operations) into engaging and accessible storytelling.
Develop viral, polished content that spreads organically across dealer networks.
Travel to dealerships and customers to film interviews, capture stories, and build authentic connections.
Represent Ekho at industry conferences and events, both as a content creator and brand evangelist.
Collaborate with Ekho’s GTM and product leadership to align content with dealer education and adoption goals.
Relentlessly experiment with new formats and channels to maximize reach and impact.
Required Skills & Experience
Demonstrated success building a content audience in business, tech, or dealership-related contexts (YouTube, podcasts, blogs, etc.).
Video creation and editing skills with a knack for polished, engaging storytelling.
Deep familiarity with dealer operations (especially variable ops)—ideally with family or personal background in dealerships.
Viral sensibility—understands what makes content spread and can balance entertainment with education.
Extreme personability, high-energy presence, and founder-like grit.
Comfortable traveling frequently to capture content, interview dealers, and attend trade shows.
Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in automotive, powersports, or adjacent vehicle industries.
A track record of building personal or professional content channels with meaningful reach.
Prior experience in marketing, evangelism, or community-building roles.
Strong network in dealership or vehicle commerce industries.
