Skills
- Expert HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue/Nuxt)
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and query optimization
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong accessibility (WCAG/ARIA) implementation experience
- Knowledge of web performance optimization and observability
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and CMSs
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and subject matter experts to translate user needs into technical solutions.
- Design, implement, and maintain front-end features with emphasis on accessibility, performance, and responsive design.
- Integrate APIs and CMS components with the Web Architect to ensure aligned front-end and back-end systems.
- Ensure web accessibility (WCAG/ARIA), security best practices, and data privacy standards are followed.
- Monitor and improve system performance using metrics, logging, and alerting; address bottlenecks.
- Contribute maintainable, well-documented code and participate in peer code reviews.
- Research and apply emerging technologies, including responsible use of AI, to improve products.
- Provide technical recommendations to leadership and support organizational goals as needed.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field, or equivalent experience
