- Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification
- Experience with building construction documents
- Proficiency with BIM (Autodesk Revit) and AutoCAD workflow
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with PDF markup tools such as Bluebeam
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to meet deadlines across multiple projects
- Availability to travel for meetings, site visits, and project interviews
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing project objectives, goals, and documentation policies
- Meet with client IT staff to determine project requirements and goals
- Develop telecommunications cabling infrastructure designs from concept through construction completion
- Prepare detailed telecom cabling infrastructure plans, specifications, reports, and narratives
- Coordinate telecom design requirements with architecture, structural, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines
Education
- Degree from an accredited university in telecommunications design or related discipline preferred
