IT Infrastructure Developer

DB E.C.O. North America is a rail and transit consultancy leveraging Deutsche Bahn’s global expertise to support public agencies and rail operators across the U.S. and Canada. The organization is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Developer to manage and secure Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, build automation and integrations, and support Finance, HR and Business Operations to improve efficiency, scalability, and compliance.

Skills

  • PowerShell scripting for Microsoft 365 and Azure automation
  • Azure administration (CLI, PowerShell, resource management)
  • Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
  • Azure Active Directory / Entra ID administration and conditional access
  • Device management with Intune and endpoint compliance
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates)
  • Python for automation and API integrations
  • Integration experience with ERP/SaaS systems and APIs
  • Monitoring, logging, and cost optimization for cloud environments
  • Security best practices: MFA, least-privilege, audits

Responsibilities

  • Manage Azure resources (networks, storage, compute, services) and monitor resource usage and cost
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Administer Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), conditional access, roles, and governance
  • Manage Intune for device enrollment, compliance, and deployment
  • Design and implement automation for provisioning, user lifecycle, and routine IT workflows
  • Develop PowerShell, Python scripts and Power Automate flows to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy
  • Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and escalation for cloud systems
  • Support and enhance integrations between Kantata, Business Central (ERP), Navan, ADP and other business systems
  • Support specialty applications hosted in Azure or SaaS environments and evaluate emerging technologies
  • Maintain documentation, system configuration records, and audit readiness for financial integrations
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex issues and provide coverage for IT Director functions as needed

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR equivalent practical experience
  • Relevant professional certifications encouraged (Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Security-related certs)
