Skills
- 5+ years performing data science activities: exploration, feature engineering, modeling, training, validation
- 2+ years working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- 1+ year using scripting languages for analysis (Python or R)
- 1+ year using Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Hive, NoSQL, etc.)
- Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Strong SQL skills and experience querying relational databases
- Ability to create effective visualizations and communicate results
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms
- US Citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance
Responsibilities
- Test and validate performance of ML models and pipelines
- Assist with data acquisition, ingestion, tagging, and labeling
- Perform data exploration and extract insights to inform modeling
- Engineer and analyze features for effective AI/ML models
- Condition and clean data to ensure quality and consistency
- Construct, train, and validate AI/ML datasets and workflows
- Collaborate with data engineers and AI/ML specialists to deploy models
- Communicate data outcomes and visualizations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent
- In lieu of degree, 3 years of equivalent industry experience
- Master's or Ph.D. in a related field preferred
