Client Onboarding Engineer
Skills
- 3+ years in IT service delivery, client onboarding, or technical implementation in managed services or enterprise IT
- Strong knowledge of networking, server infrastructure, and virtualization
- Endpoint management experience (Windows and macOS)
- Familiarity with Taegis, LogicMonitor, Kaseya VSA, Liongard, and ServiceNow
- Ability to document complex technical environments clearly and concisely
- Excellent verbal and written communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management tools
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in fast-paced project environments
- Willingness to provide occasional after-hours support for cutovers or onboarding events
Responsibilities
- Partner with Project Managers and engineering teams to execute technical aspects of new client onboarding projects.
- Deploy and configure managed services tooling (LogicMonitor, Taegis, Kaseya VSA, Liongard, ServiceNow).
- Conduct discovery sessions to capture network topology, servers, endpoints, virtualization, and telephony details.
- Create and maintain clear, scalable technical documentation of client environments.
- Validate and enhance existing client configurations to meet Coretelligent standards and best practices.
- Communicate onboarding timelines and status updates professionally to clients and stakeholders.
- Track onboarding tasks and milestones in project management systems to ensure timely completion.
- Identify infrastructure gaps/risks and recommend documented remediation steps.
- Monitor newly onboarded clients for successful handoff to ongoing support teams.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Relevant industry certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL) are a plus
